Grounding Is Grounding Your Emotions

Grounding is taking yourself out of the heightened emotion of anxiety, where you're not even using the thinking part o your brain. It's taking yourself down from that to a of cam so that i can go in there in a way that i'm emotionally regulated. I breathe real slowly in through my nose, and i feel my stomach expanding. Then what i might do is little stretches. I'll stretch my taws inside my shoe. And after i've stretched, i begin the grounding exercise, which is checking in wit my body, checking in with my senses, with my eyes closed, and breathing slowly in my mind.
