The Voice of Optimus Prime

There are dozens of people who worked on this film just providing voices. Peter Cullen said that he created the voice of Optimus Prime by trying to pay tribute to his brother Larry, who had served in the US Marine Corps. Scatman Crothers would bring his guitar to recording sessions and perform while they were waiting to record their own parts. Michael Bell played a few characters in the movie but probably best recognized not for his Transformers work, but as Duke from G.I. Joe.
