How Was Deep Learning in 2012?

Jeffrey Hinton has been in the deep learning field for more than a decade, maybe even two. He's organized another neural scale of those workshops, which is something you've been doing for more than one or two years. The goal is to talk about the neural scaling laws and scaling large language models. Jeff: "It was quite interesting how the deep learning movement actually emerged during the 2012"
