The Four Types of Natural Law
In Aquinas, norms are laws that spell out what is supposed to happen for things of a certain nature. He doesn't call them natural law because squirrels and oak trees lack reason. But humans do have reason, and they can obey these norms. For him, natural law is concerned with living well in all dimensions. Now you might wonder whether this is the same thing as morality. That's actually a very interesting question.
