Amway was much more than a simple direct marketing firm. It was an organization developed with missionary zeal the very idea of free enterprise. The company sustained tremendous support for its goods and operations through large rallies attended by thousands of distributors, which doubled as celebrations of free enterprise and capitalism. And i think that once you start to see yourself this way, it does start, it can start To shift your politics in a lot of ways. Too, that you begin to identify more with the freemarket.
