Ye, that's a great question. yakugal has gone through a number of iterations here,. i think  what gugle had as its latest generation was probably acceptable in terms of features provided. However, there are other cases where you can potentially do streaming r pcs, which g rpc supports. So the client and the server are both able to freely send messages back and forth.
