You know, something that i'm wondering about is if you think that the goals that people have for regulating their emotions could actually play a role here. Because if we're thinking about these bottom up, biologically relevant emotions, like the ones you feel when seeing bear in the woods, there may not be much of a need to regulate your emotions in the first place by reappraisal or anything else. So how should we think about the different goals thatPeople have when faced with biologically relevant compared to lost less biologically relevant stimuli? A really great question.
