I'm not sure if the way I went is the best one but I think it's worth sharing. It was a student project and we didn't believe to be super successful or make millions with it, but we had fun. We developed this water application as well as an affiliate based online shop. Started in 2012 and launched in 2014. And we got featured by Apple in the Apple lifestyle charts back then in April.
