There's a strong movement now to bring back some prohibition. But people aren't really clear what they're doing, so there's one big confusion between ritual time and the time of prohibition. The problem is if you try to sanitize everything, then you, then it becomes not transgressive. And also, often the tantric paths and Buddhism are very sutric.
