The Power of Color Grading
"I was using a blue light on set that had just too much red. It was coming off almost like a Nicholas Rufen, you know, neon blue," he says. "And I wanted more of a, like an emerald blue, like a green blue." He can use Da Vinci Resolve to create very specific power windows for color grading. The program is similar to the kind of tracking stuff used for facial recognition on your phone.
