Origin and Celsus - The Same Thing, Exact Same Things

In Origin, it will sometimes be dismissed because of his theology, but he is representing Christian practice at his time. He may mean that Christians do not offer pagan sacrifices and they don't worship images as if they contain divine beings in the same way that pagans worshiped images. When answering Kelsus and arguing against idolatry, we see Origin leaning into hyperbole and exaggeration. In one section, among the Israelites, no maker of images was permitted to enjoy the rights of citizenship.
