Pastoral Mentoring Culture Is a Toxic Tool
I think that there's so many ways that when men only develop people that they see themselves in and do that through the lens of patriarchy and race and white supremacy. There's never like an expansion of who every person is it is rather a holding tightly to the one thing you were given by someone who maybe wasn't even that good at their job but because it worked for a time or if you just pass that thing on and on it felt like success.
