The Collapsing Era of Progressive Neoliberalism

The idea of social mobility is really a veneer which legitimizes and reproduces society ever exacerbating inequality. One of the reasons that new labor was so popular amongst our generation was for a very brief moment of time, there was real social mobility in the UK. But more and more people are seeing through the system that doesn't work. And this is, as I've argued, one of the reasons why progressive movements around the world are the main social base of these movements - they're realizing it's just a lie.
