The Heat Death - Is There a Recurrence?

The sun will at some point become so bright that it'll boil off the oceans of the earth and that'll only take about a billion years. We have, you know, between half a billion and a billion years before the earth is entirely uninhabitable. So yeah, this is a long past that whatever comes after us or if we manage to create little intelligent machines that can carry on our consciousness. This is called the Boltzmann brain hypothesis.
