The Importance of Congruent Sites

dermatology is a little bit like forensics and we can't help ourselves, like we're hungry for clues. So I tell my patients that unless they want to get completely naked, and in front of all their peers, the best way to really get the best medical advice is to come to a place where they can actually be seen with decent lighting. You know, you would never like evaluate somebody for cabbage, like at the bus stop. That's just not how we do stuff. And derm is medicine. We need to take it seriously. And we also need to participate seriously with our peers in other specialties.
