Proton mail got into a lot of hot water last year when there was law enforcement came knocking and said, hay, we need the ip addresses of somebody. So even though the contents might be fully incripted end to end, the subject would still be visible to somebody sniffing the the internet as your as your email goes by. Or if they supined proton mal for data from your account. If that message is sitting on their server, they would be able to read the subject, if not the contents. In fact, you probably just shouldn't be using emal though p g p would work just fine. It's just kind of a pain to use.
