Walmart Is Not Cheaper in All Meaningful Ways
The rich person can buy a pair of boots for 10 times the price, but they'll last in the rest of their life. The poor person has to buy a one 10th price boot every single year. If you get the one quality thing from Walmart, yes, it's way cheaper and it's great that these products are accessible to more people because they're less expensive. But if it breaks after a year, next year, you got to buy another one. Whereas the person about the expensive one in theory, that one lasts longer.
