One thing that comes up a lot is that DI versus cerebral salt wasting so as you've said diabetes and Sipidus you're going to actually have hypertonatremia because you're losing free water whereas cerebral salt wasting you're wasting salt. So I think that's in my mind that's the biggest differentiator. The US Endocond Society recommendation they include that 25 to 75 milligrams of hydro cortisone and surgical procedures that are minor to moderate stress should be given. And then major surgical stress they should receive 100 milligram of hydro Cortisone to help prevent any type of adrenal crisis.
