The Germans Are a Philosophical Nation

Hegel's reconciliation of public and private interests must therefore be abandoned. A revolutionary solution to the problem of the modern world must be found. This solution could only come about by Marx's conversion to communism, which came in 1844. The Germans will accept communism as soon as it is founded on sound philosophical principles. And this is our task. Our party has to prove that all the philosophical efforts of the German nation from Kant to Hegel have been useless or they must end in communism.
