How to Get Rid of Compaction Layers in Soil
Bacteria tend to be less affected because bacteria are so small that many of them survive. Funjai don't survive tillage very well at all because funjai are strands and funjai grow around things pulling them together. So we have to perhaps use tillage if you have really bad compaction layers where no oxygen can get through to those deeper levels water can't move through to the deeper level. Things are going to start to go anaerobic and it is those anaerobic conditions that select for the diseases and pests to be growing surviving reproducing in those compacted layers. It's a source of this never ending inhibitory substances that will you know volatilize
