The Second Crusade

As with the second crusade, heads of state proudly signed up to do their duty. The emperor of Germany and King of France were again on hand to lead the faithful. On this occasion they were joined by the King of England as well. But despite this seemingly good-natured agreement, both sides were far more suspicious of each other than had been the case in the past.
