Spite is definitely a... It's part of our evolution, isn't it? I think once you've figured out how to un-strew a jar, the next step is learning spite. And messing with Rubik's cubes. Octopus species are definitely amongst the highest intelligence, if not the highest intelligence of non-human animals.
