The Importance of Self-Indulgence

In stand-up it is So much easier to not write jokes. It's so much easier to Just sort of like I don't know tell some half-assed Unthought-out thing or and then imagine like, uh, I'm doing this is like Hicks Or you know what I mean This is like it's like no, you're not fucking bill x you're you And they don't like what you're saying because they're not laughing. You go through a self-indul as you're learning how to do it inevitably But really the reality is Um At least in the stand up it is SoMuch easier To Not Write Jokes.
