The Phantom Time Hypothesis
In 15 82, pope gregory the thirteenth had a team of experts make some slight tweaks to the calendar so it was more precise. To fill in this gap, they took otto's lead and fleshed out charlemagne's back story while also creating a neat time line that leads directly to otto. The result was the phantom time line of events that placed otto the third right in the middle of the very special year of one thousand a d for ilig and nimitz.
