Are You Dealing With a Living Thing?

The key question is, essentially, what are we dealing with? For whatever problem we're tring to solve, it's the cat or it's a toaster. My policy on books is always, there's a good book called how to talk about books you haven't readere. And honestly, nowadays, whenever a book comes out, the person goes on so many pod casts and video lectures and interviews, you can pretty much read the book without ever touching the book. But i'm allowed now reference to that thing, because life is short.
