The Importance of a Sketchbook Workshop

With the sketchbook workshop, a lot of it is freeing up. It's not how to draw at all. I'm letting people find their own way through the techniques that I give them. Whereas when you're in school, you're teaching, this is what we're doing today. And there's also, there's a commitment thing, isn't there? You know, if I'm hitting a tricky patch in my sketchbook pages or in my painting, very tempting to say, 'I'm going to call it a day now'
