The complementarity principle in quantum physics asserts that reality is so complex and fundamentally ungraspable. So if somebody is trying to integrate two opposing views, I think that reflects an idea, maybe not examined, that there's some problem with contradiction. And I don't think there is. I think contradiction is the display of relative experience. But unlike some traditions, the point isn't to escape from the limitations of our relative experience and somehow go into a state of open, formless bliss.
