There's an aspect of writing dialogue that is telling the actor how you imagine it the line is said. "When you're right dialogue punctuation is actually musical notation," he says. He recalls working on Holly Hunter and feeling like I just wanted to get in the car and go home, but she comes over and sits next to video of her.
