The Impact of Gas on Australian Homes
Australian homes consume about 17% of the total gas consumed in Australia. The Gratton Institute has called for all Australian homes to become fully electric. But most developers, I'm afraid to say, still go with gas. This is largely driven by consumer preference, and that is all about cooking.
