What's the Difference Between Violence and Decolonization?

Fennell: Violence is an ambiguous term. The bourgeois and intellectual say that, look, this isn't violence. So you can't oppose it with violence. And so what we see then is exploitation occurring not at the level of violence per se, physical violence, but there's exploitation. There is an erasure of identity that is occurring all the time against colonized people.
