Joseph Sotchen: I thought your note today was really lovely and it was very indeterminate. What do you do with a strong dollar reality given the unsettledness of your note? Can you go the other way and call finally weak dollar or do you just sit here? He says there are two problems with looking for a weak dollar; one is we're going to get a very, very inverted curve by Christmas at this rate. The economy is heading into a recession that could last a long time, he says.
