The first ransom ware attack was mailed to victims on a piece of flexible magnetic plastic in 19 89. The man who sent those disks is known as the father of ransom ware. It wasn't until 20 twelfth century that it really took off. A decentralized digital bit coin made it possible for victim's from somewhere to accept money, without the victim having to pay at all. Ransom ware has become one of the world's most common types of siber crime.
