The Importance of Context in a Game

I remember reading in particular that the voice actors just really didn't know what was going on there They didn't really have context for what they were doing and that's partly why in the dub it just sounds like so alien. Not having context is a huge deal for 15 and I'm sure for 16 as well. We actually got character notes and character sheets and like uh, here's what the entire game is going to be about Here's the entire story. We recorded everything in order, which is wild To all of that information really really helps campfire scene was one of the last scenes i'd ever recorded So, um, it really um It really brings it home.
