Nuclear Weapons Detection

There's been a live investment in detection of nuclear weapons activity. My mom actually worked on a nuclear nonproliferation technology when she was at Los Alamos trying to detect if people are blowing up nuclear bombs and all this kind of stuff. There's a whole big industry called stockpiles stewardship to try to make sure that our nuclear weapons would still work if we fired them.
