What Are the Patterns in the Fossil Record?
There is this a kind of pattern of first appearances in the fossil record. invertebrates appear earliest, and then you get the first appearance of fishes,. Then you get amphibians, and then reptiles, and then mammals and birds, ad then you get people. We're al there's a kind of order, there's a sequence there. And an that order is real, you know, and it needs an explanation. Now the question is, can we explain it within the creation m the evolutionary model?
