Reagan and Thatcher, a Book Review
I can't think of since that time a friendship between a US president and a foreign leader quite like that one, unless I'm overlooking it. They very much made a point to Thatcher and Reagan to play up their kind of political romance in public. She would always carry around in her suitcase where she traveled a black outfit just waiting for the day when Reagan, who had been struggling with dementia, would pass as she'd be ready to go to the funeral. So he really and her, they were soulmates in many ways. It was also like what I was happy to describe in the book.
