If you challenge a person's self opinion with the first thing that you say, immediately walls go up. You're challenging their opinion there. They have a certain wino confirmation bias. And so if you do the opposite, like what you're saying is, you're actually right. So that wall that went up starts to go down and now they're more open to your influence. It's its seduction, ust charm. Just being a polite human being.
