This could be a cause of despair for mathematicians who view matics as this abstract, perfect fully self contained thing. But chayton makes the argument that actually, it opens up for creativity in mathematics. And at some deep level, mathematics is still an art. There are good explanations that will be replaced overtime with more good explanations that explain more of the world.
