If God Has Reasons to Fight, Then We Have Reasons to Fight
If God has non-moral reasons to fight, it doesn't necessarily follow that we have reasons to fight. That would follow only if God had the same motivation of states as us. So there's a kind of circularity in the argument. You're assuming a view of the nature of moral obligations to sit this argument up. Not enough time to fully explore my view is that we don't have reasons just in favor of virtue. For example, A murderer might really enjoy killing and therefore should be allowed to do so. There are other views which I think are best defended by people like Jonathan Dancy and Derek Parfett.
