Can You Use the Wrong End of a Guide Wire to Insert Into a Ness?
If you make a big hole the wire passes very freely but it still doesn't usually move. The real risk is you inserting your wire past where you should have and the best very theoretical risk is the wire moving on its own. If you're ever going to do this I would certainly be more cautious, go slower and make sure that the angle your wire is entering the vessel is really quite shallow. It's probably never as safe because the tip is sharper than the rounded,. radius tip of the appropriate end is generally the same material which is soft and therefore it is sort of safe.
