The Giants Should Trade for Trevor Rogers

Trevor Rogers' ERA was 3.57 last year, which is a tremendous accomplishment considering it was in the fives or sixes for a huge chunk of the year. I went on a deep dive looking for what had changed for him last year and it wasn't really commands. It was just the defense not catching the ball. The exit velocity is going to be stellar, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything if these balls are doing things that fielders aren't expecting.
