The modern food pyramid suggests that we need 55% of our calories being coming from carbohydrates. Massive agriculture has resulted in a lot of foods not being as nutrition as they were even, let's say 70 or 80 years ago. Even fruits consist of many more nutrients 100 years ago, but now with massive agriculture, if fruits and vegetables have lost, all of the nutrients that they had as well. And unfortunately, I'm hearing people saying things like, oh, I'm on a weight loss. I'm just counting calories. No, no, no, all calories are the same.
