Is the Context Supporting a Mindset a Good Thing?

A new study shows that when the context supports a growth mindset you get stronger effects. It's to do with people having enough choice to actually go and do things which would change how things happen. There are controversy three our mindset effect sizes too small to be interesting, says macronomara. The best effect that can be expected from an educational intervention with real-world outcomes is 0.2 standard deviations for instance.
