Folk practices are things people do on the computer that you wouldn't think of as right. For example, taking a screen shot of something to save it instead of saving the web page or copying the text somewhere. It seems related to trust to me, or at least the answers you gave, examples that you gave. I think there's way fewer things than there should be on your phone or your computer that have that kind of objectness to them.
