The Prophetess of Rome, Martha
Marius' wife sent a syrian woman who had been making the rounds in rome recently, telling fortunes and predicting future events. She saw that this could be a very useful woman, indeed, for her husband. So she sent the prophetess martha to him in gaul and marius gave her a place of honor in the camp. And eventually the teutones get fed up with the waiting, and they lay siege to the roman fort. They make several attacks, but the romans fight them off.
