I began to see all this much to my tremendous embarrassment because I'm fucking 36 and I'm, I intellectually knew all these things before but I began to truly see it and feel it in a in a way that I never did before. The word oppression gets thrown around the law and it's an appropriate word to describe a lot of things but I don't think it quite gets to the true. It doesn't quite express the true horror of the atrocities that occur in taxpayer funded perfectly legal systems like the incarceration system. That is very in very literal ways depleting not only the earth but depleting human health. And how in fact those who are doing the most important work for the well being
