Alpha-Gal Test: What to Expect
Many people with alpha-gal syndrome may be able to tolerate some amount of gelatin and maybe not. It also depends on what your symptoms are. We see that and I will often tell patients it's a bit like a pregnancy test. If the clinical symptoms fit, meaning you have reactions or issues after eating red meat and we think that you have AGS and you test positive, it doesn't matter to me how high that test is.
