The Importance of Proximity

Sally Kohn: For me growing up, like in the church, no, there was like nobody. And so I just didn't understand that you could be a happy, healthy gay person. None of them felt relatable because they felt so far away from my spirit of influence or even like the trajectory that my life could go down. She says she's grateful to those who are willing to be open and confident about their sexuality.
