Do We Really Need to Live With Wolves?

Wolves are returning to regions from which they've been long absent. Is it reasonable to ask why the human beings that live there ought to put up with them at all? There are moral arguments for allowing wolves to return to the human environment, after all. And perhaps learning to live with wolves can help humans appreciate their true position - but not almighty once the domain of hippy's an adventure of travelers.
