The US has a long history of those people actually being okay and even heroes. But compared to Russia, there is no intrepid reporter. There is no brave journalist over there. And so likewise, I certainly don't think like in their award ceremonies, their reward, whatever their equivalent of the Oscars is, orwhatever their equivalent of winning up Pulitzer is. You know, famously, you know, that kind of funny example of how who wants to win a millionaire backfired in Russia with respect to the polly audience question.
Today Josh speaks with Sam McNerney on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Some of the topics we dive into are:
- The geopolitical reactions and support of Ukraine.
- Putin’s mental health and motivations behind the invasion.
- Russia's political and economic future.
- The prospects of WW3.
- How Russia and Ukraine are both using propaganda as part of information warfare.
- The differences between Russian and American oligarchs.
- And much more.
